Anchor Bolts
Anchor Bolts can be classified into the following types:
(1) Inflatable anchor
The expansion anchor bolt, referred to as the expansion bolt, is the relative movement of the cone and the expansion piece (or expansion sleeve), which promotes the expansion of the expansion piece, and the expansion and extrusion force of the concrete of the hole wall, and the deformation resistance is generated by shear friction. The expansion type anchor bolts are divided into a torque control type and a displacement control type according to the different control methods of the expansion force during installation. The former is controlled by torque and the latter by displacement.
(2) Reaming anchor
The reaming type anchor bolt, referred to as the reaming bolt or the grooving bolt, is a machine that re-expands the head by re-grooving the concrete at the bottom of the borehole, and using the concrete bearing surface formed by the counter bore and the anchor bolt to expand and expand the head. Bonded anchor bolts, also known as chemical bond plugs, referred to as chemical plugs or bonded jaws, are made of special chemical adhesives (anchor glue), which are fixed in the concrete substrate bore by cementing the screw and the internally threaded pipe. The bonding and locking action of the adhesive and the screw and the adhesive to the wall of the concrete hole to realize an assembly for anchoring the connected member.
(4) Chemical planting
Chemical planting reinforcement, including threaded steel bars and long screws, is a post-anchor connection technology widely used in engineering circles in China. The chemical anchoring anchoring principle is the same as that of the bonded anchor bolt, but the chemical planting bar and the long screw are not limited in length, similar to the anchoring of cast-in-place concrete reinforcement, and the failure mode is easy to control, and generally can be controlled as the anchorage steel damage. Therefore, it is suitable for the anchoring connection of structural members or non-structural members with static and seismic fortification strength ≤8.
(5) Concrete screws
The construction and anchoring mechanism of the concrete screw is similar to that of the wood screw. It is a hard and sharp blade screw threaded by a special process. Before installation, the hole with a small hole diameter is pre-drilled, and then the screw is screwed in, using the thread and the hole. The bite of the wall concrete asks for the pull-out force to achieve a component that is anchored to the connected piece.
(6) Shooting nails
The nail is powered by gunpowder. High-hardness steel nails, including screws, are injected into the concrete. The high temperature (900 °C) is used to integrate the steel nails with the concrete due to chemical sintering and clamping. Anchoring the connected parts is achieved.
(7) Anchoring glue
The anchoring properties of chemically implanted and bonded anchors mainly depend on anchoring adhesives (also known as adhesives, adhesives) and construction methods. The most widely used anchoring adhesives in China are epoxy-based anchoring adhesives.
